Insomniac games has basically knocked it out of the park with every major franchise they’ve put out, especially on Playstation. Spyro, Ratchet and Clank, Resistance, Sunset Overdrive, Spider-man and now Wolverine on the way, it’s safe to say they’ve been one of the most consistent and hardest working game studios out there for decades now. People are finally starting to recognize this studio for what it is, and to some, including myself, Insomniac has taken the place of their favorite game developer in the industry, especially considering their healthy work practices.

I believe that Insomniac has the chance to take the mantle from studios such as Rockstar and Naughty Dog as the defining studio of this new generation, and with their recent announcements of Spider-man 2 and Wolverine, that possibility is even closer to being a reality, since both have a chance to be the team’s best work. In this video I discuss what they need to do in order to make these games work, how these games can but them at the top of the industry, and how a potential Insomniac Marvel Universe could separate them from every other studio in the world.
